That means there’s no manual adjustment needed as you go from large full sheets of paper to small receipt. It comes with a plastic insert that offers three different paper “chutes” all at the same time. That’s where Neat’s hardware has a bit of an advantage. But it was not specifically designed to work with receipts. (Since the two are not OS agnostic.) It works quite well and has adjustable paper sheets so that you can scan anything up from 8.5 x 11 paper two receipts.

When I made the move to Mac I sold that scanner and immediately bought the Mac equivalent. I started with a scanner from Fujitsu that was designed to work with Windows. I have used a high-speed scanner for the last few years. Yes, the desktop scanner is a bit on the pricey side but for the $399 entrance fee you get an excellent scanner and some similarly great software. I have been using the company’s NeatDesk scanner and software combination to get myself a bit more organized and I have become a fan.
